ELIGIBILITY
Pass in 12th standard with at-least 50% & student should not be more than 22 age in PUSA.

THE COOKING OF A STUDENT
Students are imparted training in front office, housekeeping, food & breverages and kitchen.
Students are also taught law, economics, accounts, management and a foreign language.
The training period (apprentice) is offered with stipend for governmentcollege students.
Students are required to go for 22 week practical training at a hotel to gain an insight view.

National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology
National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. The Council centrally regulates academics for hospitality and hotel administration and other eleven structured courses of studies that are conducted at the existing 54 Institutes of Hotel Management and 7 Food Craft Institutes located in different parts of the country. All Institutes uniformly follow standardized course curricula prescribed by the Council for the twelve different professional programs. The Bachelor of Science program in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is offered jointly by the National Council for Hotel Management and the Indira Gandhi National Open University. The Three-Year program equips students with all the required skills, knowledge and attitude to efficiently discharge supervisory responsibilities in the Hospitality sector. The programme also involves indepth laboratory work for students to acquire required knowledge and skills in the operational areas of Food Production, Food and Beverage Service, Front Office Operation and House Keeping. The programme imparts substantial management inputs in area such as Sales and Marketing, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Hotel and Catering Law, Property Management, Entrepreneurship Development, Computers with special focus on Tourism Studies.
